Getting involved

HOW YOU CAN HELP

If you have time to spare and would like to join our team of volunteers, please visit our Volunteering page for more details.

Corporate Support

We are able to offer group activities for corporate staff here at our Centre. Or perhaps you would like to organise a fundraising event for us? Contact Emmab@svp.org.uk

St. Mary’s RC Primary School in Whickham came and sang carols for our service users at Vinnie’s Christmas Lunch.

Collections for our food bank or fundraising activities are always welcome.

We can come and talk to your school about the work we do. Contact Emmab@svp.org.uk

Fundraise

We have amazing supporters who raise funds for us in all sorts of different ways. What could you do to help us?

Perhaps you could even save coins in jars and return them to us when full!

Donate

Our Amazon Wishlist is an easy way to contribute in a big or small way by buying us the things we need to improve our service delivery. You can click on the logo for details.

You can also click to follow the link to our Just Giving page.

Can you Gift Aid your donation?

You can boost your donation by 25p for every £1.00 through Gift Aid, a government scheme which enables us to reclaim the tax you have already paid on your gift, at no extra cost to you.

Support from SVP Members

Nearly 50% of our current volunteers are SVP members.

If you would like to find out more about how your conference could get involved or would like more information about how to become a member of the SVP, contact MichaelM@svp.co.uk

Leave a Legacy

Gifts left in Wills make a huge difference to our work and in recent times such support has been vital in enabling us to respond to increased demand from people seeking our help. By leaving a gift to the SVP in your Will you can help us support people facing poverty and disadvantage long in to the future.

A huge thank you to all our supporters!!
