Café Assistant

Café Assistant required to assist in our community café. We are looking for friendly welcoming individuals who will be responsible for assisting staff in the running of the café.

Roles Include;

Food Preparation
Keeping the Area’s Clean and Tidy
Serving Customers
Clearing Tables
What we are looking for;

Reliable
Good Customer service
Helpful Friendly Manner
Ability to work as a team and independently

 

VINNIE’S 

Volunteer Cafe and Kitchen Assistant required (various days available)

 

 

Volunteer Receptionist / Admin Assistant

Receptionist volunteers provide a welcoming and informed first point of contact at Blackfriars Community Centre. (various days available).

Roles Include

Dealing with enquiries
Answering telephone
Undertaking general administration duties

What we are looking for;

Confident to talk to members of the public in person or over the phone
Able to manage well in busy environments
Can work effectively as part of a team
Confident in undertaking basic administrate tasks
Good customers service

 

Parent & Toddler Group Helper

We are looking for a Playgroup Volunteer to help at our Parent and Toddler Group on a Friday Morning 10am – 12.   Helping the group leader in all activities.

Roles Include

  • Preparing for the session
  • Playing and interacting with the children
  • Talking to parents and carers

What we are looking for

  • Enjoyment of working with children
  • Friendly nature
  • General willingness to help out

This role would benefit anyone considering working in a childcare role training and support can be given while volunteering
